Stephanie Pratt is a RTY-200 certified yoga teacher in Washington, DC. Stephanie completed her 200 hour training at Yoga District in July 2016. She also has 40 hours of restorative training and 50 hours of Rocket Yoga Training. Stephanie began her yoga journey in 2012 as a way to develop flexibility for her rock climbing. Now, she does more yoga than rock climbing, but loves strong physical activities, and moving meditations. Currently, Stephanie teaches twice a week at Yoga District – Columbia Heights (see on a map).
Stephanie’s classes are vinyasa flow style (moving with breath) with an energetic, playful nature. Stephanie encourages her students to have fun while challenging themselves to build strength in the body and mind. She is inspired by Baptiste Power yoga and the many DC vinyasa flow teachers that have taught her over the years. She would like her students to feel comfortable with their various expressions of poses as well as share their practice of where they are that day. Students can feel free to modify and amplify as desired throughout class. Stephanie plays a range of music in her classes, does not use incense, and may use the heat if temperature is below the low-mid 70’s.
